SCIP Europe - Amsterdam 2014
Every year SCIP - Europe brings about the latest and greatest in Competitive Intelligence in the old continent. I am proud to be invited to speak at the next event this coming November and my topic will be using Scenario Planning to help intelligence professionals take on big, complex problems.
SCIP Latin America - São Paulo 2014
This year's SCIP Latin America will take place in São Paulo (Brazil) on October 7-9; it is the premier Competitive Intelligence event in South America and I am proud to be part of it. I will teach a pre-conference seminar on 10/7 on my 5-Step program to help analysts create their own scenarios, then on 10/8 I will be in the main event with a section on complex problems where I will use three distinct cases: 1) an ethical dilemma: Stem Cell research, 2) a polemic topic: Renewable energy and carbon emissions, and 3) a conflict: The crisis in Ukraine.
